Subsixstudios Website update

I would like to announce that the new redesign of my website is now live. An improved shopping page is one of the many updates I have made. I am having fun time filling some of my creative needs with geeking out to project briefs, navigation plans and open source content management applications.

Give it a look at www.subsixstudios.com

New website launch

The NEW Burlington Craft Mafia website went live today
We would like our new site do more than promote our members. Our goal is to become a destination site for independent crafters, designers and artists seeking information on local events, resources or biz advice, and a place to connect with like-minded creators.

Studio STK DIY Show & Sell

Joanne's display of Happy Fantastic
Joanne's display of Happy Fantastic

Erinn, Joanne and I attended the first StudioSTK DIY Show & Sell on Friday 7/6. It was a small event with 9 vendors but it was intimate and cozy. As always the atmosphere at Studio STK is filled with energy and creativity. It is the perfect place for small local events. The BCM had our big coming out party there last spring. We love the place. There was wonderful music provided by APR for our listening pleasure. The crowd was on the small side but it was steady flow of people throughout the evening. Many were there to browse and shop and spent a good amount of time checking everything out.

We also met a few of the other vendors who were sitting near us. The Parasol Sisters were attending their first show. They had an impressive display of photography, prints and handmade jewelery.

We also met George Breisch Gonzalez. He is a talented fine artist who was showing off his pottery.

All in all it was a good event. We made some new friends and contacts. This is going to be a monthly event so we will keep you posted on details of the next one.
